Site News 2Q2003-Archive

6/22/2003 Well, the first meeting was alot of fun. It was great to meet everyone. I'm updating the Meetings page to include pics of the first meeting, and an outline of what was accomplished.

6/17/2003 So far attendance looks like it will be about half of our members. I've sent mailings to all remaining members to confirm attendance. I think I included everyone, and apoligise if I got anyone twice. :) (Sorry Jeff)

6/02/2003 Our first meeting has been scheduled for June 21, 2003. Check the meetings schedule. Update: Doug McLaughlin will be bringing his AmigaOne and AmigaDE on his laptop for demo. So if you want to get a first look at the AmigaOne, this is the meeting to attend! Dave Hamerick has agreed to bring his Amiga 1200/060 with Mediator PCI expansion. You can get a first hand look at these systems at the meeting.

5/31/2003 Forum Update: The server that the forum was hosted on had some problems, and after several days of being down, Michael moved to a new hosting company. It took a few days to get the DNS changes to occur and a bit longer to get the forum backup data from the old hosting company. The forums are now back up and running.

5/29/2003 Since the forums have been down a few days now, I thought I would post the link back to the original Proboards forum that I created. Everyone can use this to communitcate until our regular boards are back online. The link is http://ncscaug.proboards13.com

5/25/2003 The Forum section is now back online. UPDATE: Looks like there are still some issues, as they are offline again.

5/22/2003 The Forum section is currently offline. This will be back up soon. Thanks for your patience.

4/13/2003 NC/SCAUG Website has undergone a total makeover to more closely match the look of our User Fourms color scheme. I hope everyone likes the changes. Personally, I think the new colors are easier to read. There are other minor changes, as the "Headlines" has been moved to the left sidebar and a few links reworded.

4/06/2003  The new forums are now active!  A big "Thank You" to Michael for donating webspace on his server and for setting up the forums.  Get on over there and start posting.  Doug has also offered up a mailing list.  He will post info on this as soon as it's available.

4/06/2003  NC/SCAUG welcomes two new members, Michael Powers and Troy Parker.  The Bravenet forums were not working properly, and have been temporarily replaced by Proboard forum.  Michael has offered to setup a forum hosted on his server.  More info will follow when available.
